Meet Midea PortaSplit – a new generation of portable air conditioning that sets a completely new standard of comfort and mobility. Unlike most mobile devices available on the market, PortaSplit does not use a classic pipe to discharge hot air through a tilted window. Instead, a full-size outdoor unit is used, connected to the indoor unit by factory-fitted freon pipes.
This solution is inspired by professional split systems – but without the need for permanent installation and interference in the building structure. Thanks to this, the entire heat dissipation process takes place outside, which significantly increases cooling efficiency and eliminates energy losses typical of traditional portable air conditioners.
An additional advantage is the condensate drainage system - all condensate from the internal unit is automatically sent to the external unit and removed directly outside, which eliminates the need to empty the water tank or use additional drainage hoses in the room.
The external unit contains only a heat exchanger and a fan, which makes it light and easy to place, for example, on a windowsill, balcony or outside a window. The compressor is placed in the internal unit and additionally silenced with a triple layer of acoustic insulation, which allows for an extremely low noise level during operation - even in intensive mode.
