Energy Saving Motors & Fans for Refrigeration Applications


A patented a new generation (MCE series) of synchronous, FHP electric motors (up to 25W - 1/30 Hp), electronically commutated for direct link to an AC line, where no ground connection is required.

This new motor generation, designed to satisfy the growing market demand for "energy saving" solutions, gives ELCO the opportunity to successfully complete with major world-wide motor manufacturers.

The great potential of these motors comes from the versatility of the electronic circuit board: the low consumption, the high efficiency (up to 70%) the low working temperature and the use of selected materials, all contribute to realise a technologically advanced product with remarkable performance compared to motors with similar dimensions and capacity.

The MCE Series has two single speed basic models, COMPACT and STANDARD to be selected according to required performance. Additional adjustable speed and multi-speed       models are currently under development. Both models have similar performances when powered at 50Hz or 60Hz.
